Five-firm capex vs. implied annual depreciation under different useful lives

How it's computed
Computed by this site: straight-line depreciation of each year's total five-firm capex (MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, META, ORCL) over the stated life, starting the year after spend. Applies one life to all capex, although buildings and land are depreciated over much longer lives or not at all, so this overstates the burden for the non-server share. Fiscal years are mixed. Only years where all five firms have filed are used. Some values are computed by this site from the sourced series (see note).
